Welcome to your ‘Remarkable Ladakh’ Tour. On arrival in Leh, pick-up from Airport and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh. Later, in evening visit Shanti Stupa - is a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district, Ladakh, in north India. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura. The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama. or Leh Local Market, by walk. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 KARGIL
Have breakfast, early morning. Then proceed to Kargil via Fotu La Pass and Namki La pass. Kargil is known as the location of the Indo-Pakistani border war of 1999 En-route we explore Sham Valley which includes Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill – also known as Gravity Hill, etc. Further we visit Alchi Gompa. Arrive at Kargil. Visit Kargil war museum at Drass (Subject to operation) – second coldest inhabited place in the world.Return back to Leh, overnight rest.
Day 3 NUBRA
After breakfast, check-out from hotel in Leh. Drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel / camp. After a sumptuous lunch take a walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camels on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village (by own). Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4 PANGONG
After Breakfast, check out from Hotel / Camp. Thereafter, leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 –7 Hrs.Arrival at Camp.Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake.Overnight stay in Pangong Lake.
Day 5 LEH
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of the Sun rise on the lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh. Day Free for Leisure, Evening visit Leh Market for Shopping, by walk (Own Cost). Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6 HEMIS NATIONAL PARK TO LEH
Early morning have breakfast & drive to Phey, from here your trek will start for Hemis National Park (Guided Tour) – enjoy view of wildlife. The park is home to blue sheep, numerous mountain & migratory birds. Trek down to Phey & travel back to Leh. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 7 LEH
After breakfast, check-out from Hotel. You’ll be dropped at the airport for your further journey.
